Solheim Senior Community offers a host of services and amenities to promote overall well-being. Residents can enjoy three, healthy daily meals and snacks. We have lively common areas where residents congregate, enjoy conversations, and embrace friendships and company. Our garden area is a great place for recreation and is visited frequently. In addition, we have diverse daily activity programs coordinated regularly and scheduled transportation to enjoy outings in the local area.
Support from our health care team is designed to assist residents throughout their day, as needed, with whatever unique needs they may have. Our staff are well-trained and qualified to assist with such things as medication management and provide weekly clinics, where they assess residents’ blood pressure, vital signs, weight, and more. Our staff also collaborates on health changes, additional care needs, and much more. Residents’ health is our top priority, and we do our best to provide comprehensive and efficient services every time.
We offer a selection of studio and one-bedroom apartments for residents to make their own. All of our units are designed for safe and easy mobility, with built-in safety features, like hand rails. Emergency electric generators are equipped in each unit as well as smoke alarms and sprinkler systems. Cable TV is available in all units, and housekeeping and laundry services are offered regularly, so residents never have to bother with the hassle of chores.
Solheim Senior Community is a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE) with a continuing care contract. In the state of California, these terms are defined as follows:
A housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents. These facilities are also known as assisted living facilities and board and care facilities. A residential care facility may provide care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
A residential care facility for the elderly that has a contract to allow them to provide nursing services.
